Snug Projects in Belfast


Snug Projects in connection with the Solent Centre for Architecture and Design have delivered the first workshop of PLACE Primary School Curriculum Initiative 2010, A Vision for the Built Environment as a Teaching Resource. The workshop was attended by teachers and built environment professionals in Belfast and was well received. The Stealth House is built



The ‘Stealth House’ is now complete and our clients moved in for Christmas. We are very pleased with the end result and our thanks go to our clients and the contractor, LST Projects, for successfully realising this innovative design.

The Old Forge goes to planning


Snug has submitted planning for a replacement dwelling at The Old Forge, Sparsholt. The proposal is for a 4 bedroom home that is derived from a contemporary interpretation of the established character of the village.

47 Monks Road goes to planning


We are pleased to announce that our application for a two bedroom home on Monks Road, Winchester has been submitted to planning. The proposal seeks to sensitively complement the surrounding context and the highly established character of the residential area.

Laurel Cottage goes to planning



A proposal for a succession of alterations and extension for Laurel Cottage have been submitted to planning. The proposal seeks to sensitively complement the character of the existing dwelling.

27 Canon Street Wins Planning Approval



We are pleased to announce that our contemporary refurbishment of 27 Canon Street has been granted planning permission by Winchester City Council. The extension & garden office create a contemporary modern house, significantly enlarging the sense of space and improving the dwelling’s relationship with the garden.

36 Endless Street submitted to Planning



We are pleased to announce that the refurbishment and renovation at 36 Endless Street, Salisbury has been submitted to Planning.

Snug Projects gets ‘Arty’



Snug Projects has been invited to be one of three local practices working on ‘Artchitecture’. This is an ambitious project organised by the Solent Centre to develop new ways of living in the new forest.



From January 2010 Ben Chainey will be extending his role to ‘Technical Director’.



Snug Projects has become a member of the South Coast Design Forum Southampton branch and are looking forward to working with other designers in the city to push forward design quality in the city.

24 Hours to save Winchester event






The Snug team will be taking part in the ’24 Hours to save Winchester’ event in March. The event is organised by the Solent Centre for Architecture and Design and will involve multidisciplinary teams working through the night to develop a more sustainable vision for the city.
